Paving is the family business.
Brothers Henry and Joe are third-generation asphalt contractors. HCS carries that experience forward with a simple promise: deal directly, respond promptly, and care about the finished work.
Three generations
Experience learned on the job.
Henry and Joe grew up around paving crews, working summers—and often nights—with their grandfather’s local asphalt business.
After years in the trade, the brothers set out on their own in the Frederick area. They saw that plenty of contractors could pave. Far fewer made the process easy for the customer. HCS was built to close that gap.
Today, customers speak directly with the owners. Henry returns calls the same day when possible, estimates are often performed promptly, and proposals are written clearly. There are no salespeople between the customer and the crew responsible for the project.
